METRO BY T-MOBILE // METROWIRE
I worked with Isaac Murray Studios and Southern Sky Films to create a zany YouTube series that shows the genius of joining Metro by T-Mobile.
After viewing some of my comedic work I was brought on by creative director Isaac Murray to write and direct the MetroWire series from the ground up with Southern Sky Films. I helped create the main two anchor characters, casting my friend Gregory Bordelon (an acclaimed sketch comedian from UCB in LA) as one of the lead roles. Using sharp comedic timing we walked a delicate line between homage and spoof as we recalled the popular satyrical news format used on LAST WEEK TONIGHT and WEEKEND UPDATE. Since the mandate of this series was relaying information about plans and products, we decided to turn the spots on their head and favor some zany, silly visual gags in favor of punchy one-liners. The full length episodes spots have been used across Metro’s social media platforms. We’ve also released many 15s ads that have been used across the web.
